I'm perfectly fine again (apart from a nice little cough and a bit of a sore throat) and I'm happy.
The weekend was great as usual and I really enjoyed it after my little illness last week.
I got one of our chauffeurs (and our Mercedes s-class) to give me a lift to GATWICK AIRPORT on Saturday (at 6AM *brrrr*) where I picked up Sanne (from Amsterdam) and we had a very good time...
(Sorry Sanne, I know I should have known which train to take, I know I've been on the Hampton Court train more than one hundred times by now, I know I shouldn't be confused if there is one coming in to Guildford which looks exactly the same" *ggg* "And I know you didn't like spending 30 mins in Claygate (in the middle of nowhere) I AM SORRY and I hope you know that *lol*)![]()
So after a 2 hours train journey (which should have been around 40 mins) we met up with A. and A. in Waterloo where we went to our "favourite pub" (The Duke Of Sussex/ the worst pub I know around there but the only one next to the station) where we had J2O and a pool table *g* and loads of weird people:
"Sorry, sir, we're missing a ball" (me to the bartender)
"No problem, luv, I've got two for you"
We went through the rain and to Carnarby Street afterwards before we decided to have a nice chicken pizza at Pizza Hut *yummy*
The rest of the night we spent in "O'Neills" (China Town) with a much nicer barkeeper *lol* and annoying football fans.
On Friday I went ice skating (Guildford) and rollerblading with D. and so I had some sore muscles on Sunday *g*
We didn't do much on Sunday, though, apart from spending hours in "Wetherspoons" and "Chequers" (the best pub in the world)
Also D. had his birthday party and I saw myself walking through "Painshill Park" (Cobham) with twenty 8-year-olds for about three hours while they were guided through the nature and collected leafs, snails and little frogs *grrrrrr* It wasn't too bad, though, and the boys enjoyed it.
Yesterday (Monday) I met up with Sanne in Waterloo and we had a nice time walking around to Leicester Square, Covent Garden and Co.
We had some coffee at Starbucks and lunch at Mc Donald's *g*
After work I met up with Anika in C.London and we went out with a guy (I think I forgot his name *LOL*).
He was a chartered accountant from East London (Old Street/Liverpool Street) who works in Kensington and a bit of a bore - I nearly fell asleep to be honest. But I was only there to help Anika so I didn't mind actually *ggg* as he bought me drinks as well
While we were sitting in that pub a guy from another table came to me:
"Hey darling, my mate overthere says you look catholic, are you catholic?"
"Well.. let me think about it... nope"
"Alright, we thought you must be. Where are you from?"
"Oh, I'm from China"
"No, you're not don't take the piss"
"I am. I used to live in Hong Kong for 10 years although I was born in America"
He was just stupid and annoying so he deserved to hear silly stories![]()
Back to work and back to college today
